Did you know that the King was the highest card in a deck of playing cards until the French Revolution, when it was replaced by the Ace, as a symbol of the people's rise in power over the monarchy? You did if you attended Kirsten Academy's December class, where we learned all about cards and the history of card games! You also would have learned how to play Texas Hold 'Em Poker, and competed in a super-sweet tournament.
