Past Classes
Linocuts

The linocut class was really cool. Even though I didn't have a lot of time to make anything, I managed to whip out a cool little pear linocut, which I used for the merit button. Orly made a cool Christmas tree linocut, and then printed herself a really great set of Christmas cards. Laura made a giraffe. And Maya made a super-complicated two-piece bug on a leaf.
Animation 101

Well, there wasn't exactly a huge turnout, but we only had three camera setups, so it worked out nicely. We ended up making 4 short animations, all of which are awesome.
These movies will all be premiered at my birfday party in mid-March, after which I will be posting all of them here to this blog.
If you weren't able to attend, but still want to make a short animation to show at my party (and you should, because we are giving out prizes), let me know, and we'll figure something out. But time is of the essence.
Texas Hold 'Em
Did you know that the King was the highest card in a deck of playing cards until the French Revolution, when it was replaced by the Ace, as a symbol of the people's rise in power over the monarchy?
